Baby Shower

I'm going to be an aunt again... I've got 4 nephews, and 3 nieces.... and we're about to add another tally mark under the blue category! My sister is due at the beginning of May, but we're all thinking it will be an end-of-april baby. My boys are the only boys on my side of the family, and my girls are the only girls on Mikes side of the family... so this will mix things up a bit, adding a boy to my side. Now only if Teri would have a girl.... ;)

Happy Birthday Mr. Man!

Ethan turned 7 this week, and along with him "at-home-party", he also got a family/friends party. It was somewhat "How to Train Your Dragon" themed.

2 Down....

Ethan lost his first tooth about 2 weeks ago. Within minutes, he had literally lost it in the school office. This time, he woke up with the feeling of the tooth in his throat and had to wash it down with water. Mike told him the tooth fairy was going to have to go into his stomach and take the tooth and leave money. He told Ethan the next time he poops, it will be quarters ;) LOL

Celebrating at Home

Our neighbors happened to be over, as they are everyday... and since we had a whole cake, we figured they may as well come in and share in the fun! We celebrated Ethans birthday ON his actual birthday at home, and then he'll have a party this weekend. Happy Birthday Mr. Big Man! I love you!

As I was getting ready for the coming week, tonight, I was folding uniforms and talking to Mike. I told him that I needed to find Ethans "monday" uniform for school because all of it was missing (pants, shirt, belt, tie...).

At that, Chezney, who was supposed to be sleeping- but was eavesdropping in the other room pipes up and says "Mommy... can I come? Can I come see the unicorns?"

Chezney is such a funny girl. She does sneaky little things all day long, such as hoarding who-knows-what under her bed for her to eat/play with later- when I'm not looking. The other day, I tucked her into bed, only to come back three separate times, and remove gum from her mouth because she had stashed gum balls stratigically thoughout her bedroom.

On school days, I wake up and then start to make the kids their lunches and get things ready for them to wake up and get ready for school. A good portion of the time, I can't find Danissas' lunch box and, almost without fail, I'll find it shoved under chezneys' bed because she has hidden under there and gone through the lunch box contents to make sure nothing yummy was left behind.

I'm pretty sure this little girl was a squirrel in a past life.... ;)
