He flew in and then found refuge in our fake decorative tree. We opened a door and some windows and shooed him out with little effort, but I have to say I was sad to see him go.
Poor little thing- it reminds me of a little poem from when I was a kid.
The North wind doth blow and we shall have snow, And what will the poor robin do, poor thing? He'll sit in a barn and keep himself warm and hide his head under his wing, poor thing.
THAT WOULD FREAK ME OUT!!! Oh my gosh! Reminds me, when I was in 2nd grade, a fruit bat flew in our bathroom window and my dad caught it in a towel. We put it in an empty pickle jar and I brought it to school. LOL! I'd probably get fined for that these days. haha!
I am a proud wife and mother of four busy but adorable little monkeys.
My oldest is 10, then I have a 7 year old and twin 4 year olds that are constantly on the move. I love spending time with my family and HATE house work. I always have the intention of doing neat creative activities with the kids but never quite seem to get them all in one place to do them. I guess that's just the stage of life we are in at this moment.
I enjoy blogging about all of the craziness of everyday life and documenting the funny comments my kids say or trouble that they seem to constantly find themselves in.
On the journey....
