Baseball Season Kick Off

Ethan started baseball last week and has now had 4 games already!  He has done a great job

and got a hit every time he was up to bat in his latest game... way to go buddy!

State Quarters

Danissa asked me last night "Mom... will the concession stand still take this quarter even though it has Michigan on it?" LOL... yes honey... it's still US currency! =)

Great-Grandma Love

My grandma has taken up the job of teaching some of the great-granddaughters how to crochet. Danissa has already got a good chunk of pink made into a scarf and (pictured below) Rianne (my niece) is just getting her first lesson. Love you grandma and grandpa! Thanks for loving our kiddos so much! =)

Unexpected Visitor

This was a big highlight of my day- weird as it sounds... this pup came bounding into our easter egg hunt and ran off with several easter eggs. It was the most adorable dog ever and the kids enjoyed getting a little furry friend to play with! =)

BIRTHDAYS!

We celebrated Ethan s 8th birthday and Cohen & Chezney's 5th birthdays all in the same grand event. We had a clown (L-Bow) and LOTS of cake so how could it go wrong?! It was lots of fun and we had many laughs =) Happy Birthday to my 3 ring circus!

Yet again....

I'm officially behind again! Ugh... so many things to catch up on! Firstly, after my before and after house shots were taken (See previous posts) we had a flood which has caused us to tear out the downstairs bathroom walls and ceiling. We had to pull up the carpet in the girls room and living room downstairs to dry it out and as of now- insurance adjusters are going to try to clean and stretch it. If they can't do that- we get new carpet. We also had to tear out the kitchen flooring upstairs so that is now in the works to be replaced as well. Craziness!!!

and After....

I realized I posted a "before" picture of our living room but never posted an "after" photo. Since this photo, we have had a major flood in our home and have had to rip out the kitchen floor, and the all of the walls/ceiling in the downstairs bathroom. The carpet also had to be pulled up in the downstairs living room and in the girls bedroom so we've been a little preoccupied with home repairs lately....
