Silverwood

My kids are awesome! We went to Silverwood/Boulder Beach yesterday and they rode the rides (the big ones!) and had great attitudes. It's so much fun to go when your kids are willing to let you have fun, too! More pics to come when the disposable camera is devoloped...
I added this photo so you can see Danissa better...I told her to smile for the camera...I am so impressed that she tried to but I've never seen such a fake smile! =)

Trip #2

Our second "field trip" was to the Seattle Aquarium and Childrens Museum. I'll post pics of the kids tomorrow but for now, I thought these were fun...

The Start Of Bishop Vacation Week *LOL*

This week is the start of the entire Bishop clans vacation... (Wenatchee resident-speaking). We started day 1 by going on a "day camping trip" inspired by my sister ;) The kids loved it and I'm sure we will be going back as a family for a "real" camping trip.
Roasting hot dogs for dinner....
The family getting ready to have dinner...what a great site!

Piggy Bikes

Chezney loves to have piggy bikes. She will run up to you and yell "Piggy bike! Piggy bike!" It is the cutest thing ever....
By the way...piggy bikes are actually piggyback rides....

Maybe He Was Right....

Earlier today I posted about how Ethan had woke me up by whispering that today was the first day of Christmas. Well, when I picked up Ethan from daycare, I found out that they are starting Christmas In July and made/hung stockings and wrote letters to Santa today...how funny!!!

A Little Whisper

I woke up today with Ethan whispering in my ear: "Mom...it's the first day of Christmas!"

Forts

Ethan came home in tears because a neighborhood boy had built a fort and was letting all of the neighborhood kids in to play except Ethan. The poor kid was broken hearted even though I'm not so sure he didn't do anything to initiate his being expelled from the group. However, I just thought it would help to have a "fort night" and we built a fort in their bedroom (over both beds that I pushed together). He is excited to sleep in it and was actually fairly surprised that mommy can build such good forts ;)

Who's the Daddy?

While Mike was away last weekend, Ethan was really getting bossy with the other kiddos (mostly the twins). Finally, I looked at him and said "Ethan...you are not the daddy!" and he just looked at me, equally as firm and said "When dads gone, I HAVE to be the dad!"
How do you not just laugh...?

Stelth

My kids are in swimming lessons. We walk into the pool area (outdoor) and it is enclosed by a large fence. On the opposite side of the pool, there is a table/umbrella/seating area that is enclosed by it's own small fence with only one gate. So we decided we could let the twins out to play, and just sit by the gate so they had no way out.
Not long into the lesson, my sister, sitting on the other side of the chain-link says "Did you know he was out here?" as Cohen walks by all of us, right along the side of the pool. Uhhh...NO!
So we put him back into our fenced area just to find that he went to the farthest point he possibly could way from us and snuck right back over the fence. That's right...my two year old scaled a chain-link fence, got over the top, and got down. Grrrr....
So now I'm thinking...what am I going to do in my own back yard? Put a hot wire along the top of it to ZAP my kids back into my yard?!
This is why people who see the things Cohen can do have nicknamed him Stelth...sneaky and quiet...that kid can do anything!
