Stupid Cat

Mike and I were laying in bed watching a movie the other day when I repeatedly heard a noise outside. Finally, we stopped the movie, turned off the light, and looked out to see if we could see anything. Not 3 feet from our second story window was our kitten, perched on a privacy fence that encloses our patio.

Figuring the kitten would eventually get down, we started the movie again. The kitten meowed at us a couple of times, and then we heard a loud thud. The cat had hit the window. She tried to get into the house and fell all the way down to the ground below.

What a stupid cat!

Combo Dress Up Day

Chezney and Cohens dance class had a day where they were all invited to bring a friend AND have their halloween costumes on. They invited Isabella to come, and they all three had such fun together! I just loved the photo op with all these little kiddos!

Its Official...

We have expanded to our family once again. He is a HUGE yellow lab and golden retriever mix. The sweetest dog ever, he snuggles up, lays his head on your shoulder and wraps a paw around your back for a hug. He is a bit over 1 I believe... but don't quote me on that one...

His name is yet to be determined, as he was previously known (and still is for the time being) as "Jax". Which, since we call Chezney - Chez, and Jazmine- Jaz, it's just too confusing. I yell at one dog and both cower into their beds. I call for one and both come bounding up for attention. We need a solution.

Since it is now dark, I'll have to wait till tomorrow to post a picture of our new addition.

Tea Pot

Today in the car, Cohen was singing "I'm a little dumpy tea pot..." LOL

In the Zone

I think that when the kids get ahold of our kitten, she just meditates and zones out the anxiety.

I can almost hear her thinking "I'll make it through this.... they'll get sick of me eventually. If I just sit here, and play dead... they'll get bored.. Then I'll make a break for it!"

This is what the twins came from school home wearing on Tuesday. You gotta love it! I just love the little things they come home with! And of course... Cohen insisted on wearing it backward...

Pee in What?

Ethan walked into Eastmont High school and saw the drinking fountains that are built into the wall. He walked up to one and says "Mom... this is so high I can't even pee in it!"

He thought it was a urinal!
